I'm Baaack!

Well hello there! Long time no see! lol, I know it's been my fault. I just can't seem to get myself to blog these days and now it's turned into a viscous cycle. I don't blog because I don't have pictures (really just don't have time to upload the pictures) and there is so much to update everyone on it's too much! But then, the more I wait, the more stuff there is to do updates on and the more pictures I have waiting to be uploaded. Ahhh!

So, I'm wiping the slate clean. You will just have to be in the dark on the past couple of months and settle for a breifing on recent events, lol.

My Aunt Shelly and Uncle Larry finally opened their restaurant, The Avocado House! Yay!!! I was lucky enough to go to California and be there and help with the opening. The food is sooo yummy! You HAVE to go! For the moment there is a blog about their place (at this very moment, it's "under construction" a bit, but you should still check it out), you can find the link on my "Places to Go" I'm sure I'll be writing more about them in the future.

Then there are my babies, my dear, sweet babies. My how they grow! You would think I feed these kids miracle grow or something. Mackenzie will be 5 years old this month and starting kindergarten later this year. Um, I'm to young to have a kindergartner! lol, I wish. She has lost two teeth and already has the replacements coming in. And by the way, when I say she lost her teeth, I really mean it. We knew the teeth were loose, but decided to let them fall out at their out pace. She would be playing and I'm like "Kenzie, where's your tooth?" It was just all of a sudden missing! It happened with both of them. We had to leave the tooth fairy a letter, lol. She is a busy girl these days with Preschool and ballet lessons. Her schedule is getting pretty thick.

I love my Nile. Can I just say, that pretty much since Thanksgiving Day, he has just been an angel! Hallelujah the terrible twos are finally gone! I don't know why they call them terrible twos, it starts at about 18 months old and last till 3, lol. Just yesterday while he was napping (it was a treat!) my friend dropped off some cookies for our family. Well, she is also his Primary teacher, so when he woke up I told him "Nile, wait till you get downstairs! Your teacher came by and dropped off cookies for you!" And what you ask, did my sweet boy say? His eyes got super big and with all the excitement of a child on Christmas morning he said "Mom, I'm gonna share them with everyone!" I melted! Man I love that boy.

So here is the point where you should yell at me for not having pictures, because you are missing out on how cute and big Reese is getting. She has gotten her two bottom teeth. It's kind of funny because it looks like Mackenzie took hers out and gave them to Reese, lol. She can sit on her own and although she isn't crawling, she is rolling like crazy. You put the girl on the floor, blink and she is across the room. My floors have never been so clean, lol. I'm just so scared she is going to find a little toy or a rock or something near the back door. Everything goes in her mouth! She has also started the grabbing phase, which unfortunately includes hair. Mackenzie and Nile think it is so funny, lol. Reese is still the happiest baby ever. She gives the best kisses and loves to play games, peek-a-boo is her favorite. Today I bought her, her very own baby doll because she fell in love with Mackenzie's. If you see her, you'll just fall in love.

John is still working hard at work and with the business. We added some new features to the website and got a professional hotline for our call in orders and added a new restaurant to our list, so things are exciting! I've taken up a new addiction to working out and running. Leslie Sansone DVD's are my favorite and thanks to Kassie and Caroline I'm getting the best running buddies and girl talk. I think we run for 30 minutes and talk for an hour and a half, lol. I'm loving it and loving the results.
